Question 1

What is Workspace Weaver?

Accepted Answer

Workspace Weaver is a Google Drive™ automation tool that builds reusable project templates called weaves. A weave includes a folder hierarchy, Doc, Sheet, and Slide templates, and variables so you can launch a complete, consistent project in seconds.

Question 2

How does Workspace Weaver integrate with Google Drive?

Accepted Answer

Workspace Weaver connects to your Google Drive account with Google OAuth. You attach templates from Drive, define the folder structure and variables, then generate a new project. The app uses limited scopes so it works with files you open or create through Workspace Weaver.

Question 3

Is Workspace Weaver safe with Google Drive permissions?

Accepted Answer

Workspace Weaver requests drive.file (files this app opens or creates), drive.appdata (app configuration), email, and profile. It does not request full Drive access. It is listed on the Google Workspace™ Marketplace by JJD Worldwide at https://workspace.google.com/marketplace/app/workspace_weaver/407195812630

Question 4

What are the Free plan limits for Workspace Weaver?

Accepted Answer

Free is $0 for 5 projects. Pro is $4.99 per month for 20 projects. Elite is $9.99 per month for 50 projects. Team is $29 per month for unlimited projects. Smart Mode is coming soon and is not live yet. See https://workspaceweaver.app/pricing

Question 5

How is Workspace Weaver different from FolderPal?

Accepted Answer

FolderPal focuses on copying Google Drive folder trees with merge fields. Workspace Weaver launches a full project weave: folder hierarchy plus Doc, Sheet, and Slide templates with variables inside those files, not only folder and file names. Compare both at https://workspaceweaver.app/vs-folderpal

Question 6

When should I not use Workspace Weaver?

Accepted Answer

Do not use Workspace Weaver for CRM document merge and e-sign, database row-to-PDF, single-document variables only, auto-filing existing Drive files, or broad cross-app automation. Those jobs fit Portant, DocsAutomator, Docvars, Filently or Tuck, and Zapier or n8n. Workspace Weaver launches new Google Drive projects from weaves.

Question 7

What is Smart Mode in Workspace Weaver?

Accepted Answer

Smart Mode is a coming-soon AI assistant for building weaves. It is not live yet. Do not treat Smart Mode features as available until it ships.
